I’ve recently joined two other meet-up groups over the past few week s and decided they aren’t really what I’m looking for. I’m attempting to start a new group. This group is open to any moms/dads/caregivers in the Livonia area, who are looking for play-dates for their little ones, or interaction with other parents. Personally it would be nice to have other local parents to connect with.

  This group is geared towards new moms who are working again after having their baby. Due to our work schedule, most of us can only attend meetups in the evening or on the week-ends. We will enjoy getting together and exchanging ideas and thoughts about our new experience over coffee or dinner, organizing playdates or going for walks in the park when the weather gets warmer and a bunch of other fun activities with our little bundles of joy! We started this group because we are ready to meet other families  in the area. It seems like there are a lot of groups that are either focused on just Moms or just kids. There aren't many that have activities for Parents (Moms and Dads), playdates, and family activities. Suggestions from members will be the key to all of it so I hope you are ready to get involved! We wanted a group that could do it all, and other things we think sound like fun as we go along. Let's build a group of moms who want to socialize with the kids while dad is at work. Stay-at-home moms need some grown-up time too!  Working moms are also welcome. Our group socializes with play dates and an occasional night out, among other types of events.  We want everyone to have fun and to come to an event when you can.  We're adaptable and flexible.
